ACT Science Tutoring Milwaukee - Science Boot Camp
Knerr Learning Center’s ACT Science section boot camps are intended to unmask the scariest part of the ACT and raise students’ ACT science section scores. Students will be exposed to materials written specifically for Knerr Learning Center that have already helped hundreds of students improve on the ACT science section. After the two week boot camp in Whitefish Bay, students will have tools ready for their test day and a program of preparation leading into the ACT.
Milwaukee Math Tutors - Math Explorations
Each summer, Knerr Learning Center designs math workshops to explore various mathematical themes and concepts. Unlike many of the our programs, which are geared toward the ACT, SAT, and other tests, Knerr Learning Center’s math workshops are intended to unpack random mathematical bits—they are for learning pleasure, not grade or score.
Milwaukee Test Prep - Logic Workshops
Summer is the time for exploration, and Knerr Learning Center’s Logic Workshops are the perfect vehicle for students to grow intellectually. While nearly every course in junior high and high school claims to build “critical thinking,” if you ask specifically how, you will generally receive one of two answers: 1) students are learning to think logically or rationally or 2) the course’s content itself requires critical thinking. So, students either have to learn a second skill while they learn basic content (as in the first answer) or have to already be “critical thinkers” to even enjoy the course’s content. Knerr Learning Center’s Logic Workshop puts the cart back behind the horse and allows students to learn necessary life skills. Oh, and did we mention that logic really helps with ACT and SAT test preparation?

Knerr Learning Center, and particularly Kreigh, loves designing personalized courses of study for students. While scoring well on the ACT or SAT is a goal, Knerr Learning Center’s primary goal is for students to develop as life-long learners. We give them a partner in the early part of their journey, and, more importantly, will focus plans to enhance their vocational pursuits.
